Joan of Arc, also known as Jeanne d’Arc, was a French heroine who played a significant role in the Hundred Years’ War between France and England. Born in 1412 in Domrémy, France, Joan was the daughter of a farmer and grew up in a humble household. However, her life would take an extraordinary turn when she began to experience visions and hear voices that she believed were from God.
