Well, 70 years later, most grazing gurus and grazing management magazines still adhere to that flawed recommendation, with a few starting to point out that it is not good advice. It took them 70 years to acknowledge the huge mistake of that wrong conclusion, which was that by grazing only half the plant, the roots would continue to grow.
