166 | My "Switching Sides" Moment - How I Took The Blindfold Off In My Business & Got Crystal Clear On Daily Dues.

This switching sides moment was the difference between hitting my goals in my business, and *hoping* I'd hit my goals.

I was basically a pilot, flying a plane, with a blindfold on, and no understanding of how the controls worked. ✈️That’s how I was running my biz.🤦🏼‍♀️
My “switching sides” moment came when I was learning from a mentor: he was talking about something called KPIs…😅 Key Performance Indicators.
Measurable, Adjustable, Repeatable, Duplicatable metrics.🤯
Up until that point, I had been running my business based off of feelings, and it showed.
🤔Did I “feel” inspired to post that day?
🤔Did I “feel” like I talked to enough people that day?
🤔Did I “feel” like answering my DMs that day?
🤔Did I “feel” like I pitched enough times?
🤔Did I “feel” like I had done enough marketing?
It was all so abstract.
To make matters worse, I didn’t know how it was *supposed* to feel…🥵
I believe you can graduate to a level of knowing the feeling, but you don’t start there.
My mentor introduced me to this idea of:
+ setting a NUMBER (not a feeling) for number of clients you want to sign, and then how many sales calls you’d need to book in order to successfully sign that number of clients, based on YOUR metrics.
I was low-key mindblown as I sat on our mastermind call. 🤯🤯
how had no one showed me this before? 😡
I took it and ran with it!
I stayed up until midnight that night, analyzing, tracking, measuring, and understanding my business in a whole new way.
I broke it down…🤓
How many clients did I desire, and by when?
How many sales pitches would I need to do if I closed 2 in 4?
How many clarity calls would I need to book that many pitches?
How many DM conversations would I need going to book that many clarity calls?
How many new faces would I need to contact to get that many conversations going?
I was left with…
360 DMs = 9 Clients.
Simple.
Achievable.
Clear.
It felt like something I couldn’t unsee.
Fast forward: That was the difference between $5k months and $40k months.
