Wisdom of the Body

169. Heather Grzych on Removing the Negativity Bias

Listen Later

Wellness expert and author Heather Grzych explores the pervasive influence of the negativity bias - the psychological tendency to focus more on what's wrong than what's right - and how it can disrupt our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Drawing from both spiritual and Ayurvedic wisdom, she unpacks how this mental habit creates emotional and physical impacts and blocks the subtle channels of the mind, leading to imbalances in the doshas and depletion of vitality. Heather shares practical tools for shifting out of this feedback loop. She reminds us that healing is not about perfection but about letting go - of criticism, shame, and old stories - so we can return to wholeness.
