Let Agni come here first swiftly. Let the powerful Indra follow. Let all yaatu-demons ( feeling helpless) declare, 'here am I'.
O Jaataveda, we have a vision of your hero-strength. O man of insight, proclaim that to all the yaatu-demons. Having already been punished (harmed) by you, let them come in front declaring their identities.
O Jaataveda, you have been born to help us, begin your work. O Agni, becoming our messenger, make the yaatu-demons to cry out.
O Agni, bring here the yaatu-demons in bondage. Let Indra with his vajra sever their heads.
1.8:
This offering will carry the Yaatu-dhaana here, just as a river will carry the foam. The person (male or female) who has done this evil act, let him / her confess.
Be pleased to see the person declaring (this evil-acts). Let Brhaspati take him under his control, with Agni and Soma piercing him.
O Soma-drinker, kill the progeny of the yaatu-demon and bring him here. Of the yaatu-demon who protests, pull out the eyes and throw him on the floor.
O Agni Jaataveda, you know the births of these devourers who stay in secrecy. Increasing your powers by the mantras, kill these with a hundred powers, O Agni.
