This week we are joined by special guest Dr. Gennaro Fazio, Research Geneticist with USDA ARS in Geneva, NY. Our regular hosts include Monique Rivera, assistant professor of entomology at Cornell AgriTech, and Anna Wallis, Fruit IPM Coordinator with NYS IPM.


In this episode, Monique interviews Dr. Fazio about apple rootstocks and how rootstock choices could help with the management of wooly apple aphid. Anna Wallis gives the State of the State update on our continued degree day accumulation and ramp up for the second round of pests. Recorded July 18 and released July 19, 2023.
