• Bacalhau – codfish
• “Estou com água na boca” – I’m drooling" or "I’m salivating" It is commonly used to express that someone finds a particular food very appealing or delicious, to the point that they feel an intense craving for it. Essentially, it conveys the idea that the food looks so good that it makes you want to eat it right away!
• Sabor – flavor
• Sobremesa – dessert
• Batata frita – fried potatoes, french fries
