Since it's election season, we are talking politics and communications with Janna MacPherson, a PhD Candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Drexel University’s Communication, Culture and Media Program. A former intern for US Senator Cory Booker, Janna is no stranger to the political scene and shares why discussing and caring about politics is important. Janna gives advice for those looking to break into, or work in politics and how Americans can get involved on the local level. She also discusses what it’s like to pursue her PhD immediately following her undergraduate studies, and future aspirations.
