Finn Brunton is an assistant professor in the Department of Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University. He is the author of "Spam: A Shadow History of the Internet", coauthor (with Helen Nissenbaum) of "Obfuscation: A User's Guide for Privacy and Protest, and his most recent book Digital Cash: The Unknown History of the Anarchists, Technologists, and Utopians Who Created Cryptocurrency . It was awesome to sit down with him and chat about future technologies and its potential implications on our lives. He's also one of the best educators I have ever had.
