There is a lot of talk about managing a remote team, but what happens when the manager is remote and the majority of the team are based in the HQ? 

When our super-talented Customer Support Manager, Shanaaz, told us she was moving from London, where our HQ is based, down to Cape Town, we knew we had to do whatever it took to keep her. So, we saw it as a massive opportunity to alter the way we work, open offices in South Africa and see if remote management around the world was possible.
