17. James 1: 5-6 - Intellectual vs Faithful

Listen Later

We know of great men and women that God has used mightily for His Glory in this world, men like C.S Lewis who's search for truth with the aid of his intellectual and critical mind led him to Christ. We also know the opposite, men like Charles Templeton who, having started faithfully resorted to intellectualism to understand a God who is outside of time and space and decided at last to leave the faith completely. We also know of men like the Apostle Paul, who's intellectualism and faith combined yielded to ignorance because works mattered most, and once their vision was corrected, set the foundation for the New Testament which we presently live by and in. Join me on this episode, to break down when a man should discern when to draw line on questioning God and make a commitment, a decision, to believe.
