James Monk takes the reins for episode 17 - a gorgeous downtempo mix that has been thoroughly tested, and gets our seal of approval!

London based James started collecting vinyl in the mid 90's, during the The Heavenly Social/Turnmills scene, and first came to our attention having played bass in a folk/country/soft psych band called The Monks Kitchen, (1965 Records/Wonderfulsound).

He can be found DJ'ing around the Capital at various venues playing stuff from soul & hammond groovers to psych, sampledelia, disco, re-edits & house.

Output wise, James is putting out regular mixes & re-edits on soundcloud/mixcloud of a more generally mellow/balearic affair covering sunshine pop, library, folk, soft psych, jazz, baroque pop & soundtracks.
