The Biosecurity State certainly seems to be making steady progress! This episode provides some updates on the nations of Germany and Israel. In the former, government domestic intelligence agencies are being used to monitor covid dissent and judges are being intimidated by the police; while in the latter, widespread vaccination does not seem to have brought about the end of the New (Ab)normal. I discuss these developments in relation to some of the bigger themes in question (biosecurity, censorship, scapegoating of extremists...)
