Phil is an Elder of the Tlingit First Nation in the Yukon. He's been working alongside people who battle with addiction for many years and is trained formerly as a counsellor. He currently leads the Jackson Lake Healing Camp which offers a Land-Based healing model for working with addiction. We begin with Phil's past in residential schools and prisons, and get into many subjects including spirituality, ceremony, sweat lodges, drugs, healing, spirits, and fasting. Phil's philosophy comes down to us all having our own guiding maps inside us, and that we too often look outside ourselves for the answers. He's a great storyteller and has a lot to say.
