You don't have to suffer in silence: pelvic floor health is for everyone.
On today's packed and informative episode, Courtney is joined by pelvic floor physical therapist Megan Jensen to discuss what goes on below the belt. They discuss the significance of proper breathing and relaxation techniques for pelvic floor function, as well as everyday issues such as pain during sex and urinary incontinence. You'll learn practical tips and exercises to improve pelvic floor health and how to deepen vulnerability with your partner.
Megan is an orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist. Since graduating from Northwestern University’s Physical Therapy program, she has taken additional continuing education courses to further specialize in women’s and pelvic health. She believes that all of her clients are athletes, whether their goals are to lift up children or to lift a heavy barbell. In addition to her pelvic floor knowledge, Megan also has experience treating patients with musculoskeletal pain, balance deficits, hypermobility disorders, and persistent pain.
