In the US, it's viewed as sacrilege to lightly criticize law enforcement, much less say that there are no good cops. However, it is worth analyzing what role the police really play in capitalist society, and most importantly, who they serve. We find that the police have existed from day one to protect the ruling class and maintain racial hierarchy, and continue to do so. But don't worry, things can (and must) be different.
