We discuss the Book of Mormon as a standard and what that means.   The prospect for some to  die and be  in heaven one day, and apart from the Father or Jesus is a foundational teaching of the restoration and section 76 in the D&C has been used to support this.    We discuss why the Book of Mormon does not allow for this interpretation of scripture.
