For this CareerTalk mini-episode of Where Accountants Go, the Accounting Careers Podcast, we talk about the affect of different types of employment markets on our choices of employment.

This came to me as I was shopping in the grocery store during this pandemic time.  I made it to the salsa aisle of my local grocery store, only to find that the dozens and dozens of choices that I usually had were reduced to only two options:  Red or Green.  To my dismay, those where the only two choices I had.

If you find yourself needing to find a new job during this crisis time, you may face a similar issue.  You may find that there are less opportunities to pick from depending on your specific background, desires, and your local job market.  It's important to let that feeling pass quickly though and take action, as I discuss in this episode.

No matter how limited your options may be, if it's necessary to find something, then it's beneficial to make a decision sooner rather than later.
