Walking with God & Being Blameless

It is an amazing thing that God calls us to do and be. Think of what He said to Abraham in

Gen. 17:1

When Abram was ninety-

nine years old the Lord

appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty;

walk before me, and be

blameless”.

God calls us to this charge in various ways throughout our lives; He shows us those who have gone before our time that were known as “blameless.” How do we get there? What does this walk look like?

 Noah (Gen. 6:9)

- A man who stood out in an evil culture (Gen.6:8; Heb 11:7; Gen.6:22, 7:5)

 Job (Job 1:1, 8) -

 Elijah (2 Kings 2:11-12) - Relentless standing for righteousness among God’s enemies (Phil.2:12-16; 1 Kings 17-18, 19:1-3, 14-18, 2 Kings 1)
