10 Marks of Genuine Faith
Introduction: Paul writes of Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:51 " ... I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee ... " (KJV). The word translated "unfeigned" in the King James Version is translated a variety of ways in other versions: "genuine" (N KJV), "sincere" (N IV), "authentic" (CEB), "true" (NCV). Strong's defines this word as "undissembled, that is, sincere: - without dissimulation (hypocrisy), unfeigned." The world would rather see a sermon than hear one. Let's notice ten marks of a genuine faith in the letters to Timothy.
