On today’s episode of RSP, the team tackles the topic of Chivalry. The crew starts out with the historical background of chivalry and C.L. gives his top 5 people who killed chivalry. They then get into the question of “Is chivalry dead?” Nique gives the short answer, Yusuf talks about chivalry being on child support, and the team debates about the effects that upbringing can have on how a person sees chivalry. They talk about how the command of chivalry can negatively affect a relationship as well as talking about equality as it pertains to chivalry. The team then gets into gender roles and discusses how chivalry can be misinterpreted as cheating or flirting. C.L. says that women don’t have a right to tell men how to act, be or feel., Yusuf says that norms are created, and listen to find out why Nique says “Make it happen!”  They close the show out by discussing some examples of modern-day chivalry.
