We are getting married in 2019 and I originally wanted to do a late September or early October date because we both love the fall. But just recently I started thinking about August 31, 2019, which would be Labor Day weekend. The venue we want is kind of out in the middle of the woods along a river in Oregon and they let us have it from Friday-Sunday! We both have A LOT of family and friends and I thought it would be fun for everyone to camp and do more of a whole celebration weekend. There's swimming, fishing, bonfires, horseback riding (through the venue), and hiking. Do you think this would be a fun idea, or would people be annoyed that a wedding is taking over their Labor Day weekend? I know some families have traditions for this weekend.

Camping/Glamping Wedding

When planning a weekend camping trip for your wedding you will have a lot of things to keep up with. Making sure your guests are comfortable and have the necessary items.

• Renting RVs might be the way to go. Each has its own kitchen and most their own bathroom.
• Or Find a campground that has cabins to house all guest

• Make sure it's a weekend of fun with games and activities
• Have an itinerary for the whole weekend but build some free time in there as well.
• Food: Bring lots and delegate someone in charge of the food/meals. You will need to feed them all weekend Brunches and dinners also think about having a good-bye brunch on 171the last day to send them off.
• For the reception: Possibly food trucks or Look for a caterer that has experience catering outdoor events, BBQ
• Generator
• Take care of guests, lots of drinks(non-alcoholic), baskets filled, lots of seating
• Lawn games or disc golf
