Early in her career, Dawn Starr thought she had the perfect job until one day her daughter’s daycare called and told her that her daughter was sick and needed to be picked up. Dawn felt helpless because she wasn’t able to leave work, and neither was her husband, or any of the others she called. Although she enjoyed that job, she remembers praying that day for an alternative that allowed more flexibility so she could spend time with her daughter.
At the time, she was selling Mary Kay cosmetics as a side-hustle because she was a big fan of the products. Fast-forward to today when she is a multi-million dollar sales consultant for Mary Kay and leads a team of women who want to grow their own businesses.
During our visit she’ll share more about stepping out of her comfort zone as an introvert and her success in sales, how many pink Cadillacs she has earned and who she ultimately credits her success.
