#171 Mushrooms and Chinese Lettuce - Beginner

Last week I went to the Borough Market in London. I went to the vegetable shop. There were lots of mushrooms.

I looked thoroughly at the mushrooms. There were many kinds of mushrooms. What do you cook with mushrooms? I like to fry them in butter. They are also delicious in miso soup. Also, when I make nabe, I always put shiitake mushrooms in it.

I bought some expensive mushrooms at the market. They are called porcini mushrooms. They are expensive, so I bought only three small ones. At night I made porcini rice. Put the rice, water and porcini in the rice cooker. Add a tablespoon of sake and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Then add a little butter. It smells good and tastes delicious.
