If you want to be successful and lead from the front you have to practice what you preach. What makes you different to anybody else? Why should people come to you as a leader or mentor? 

If you're talking about leadership skills - be a leader 
If you're talking about action - get it done! 

The harsh reality is, if you’re not doing what you say you're  going to do, people are not going to find you genuine or trustworthy.
