Zac Loughman, Ph.D. is a professor of biology at West Liberty University, and in this episode, we discuss his latest book, “The Natural History and Captive Care of False Water Cobras, Barons Racers, Mussuranas, and Other Xenodontine Snakes”. The first half of the discussion revolves around the taxonomic breakdown of the family Dipsadidae and sub-family Xenodontinae, and the second half reviews the natural history and captive care of false water cobras.
