Taking time to be present with ourselves and the sensations in our body will help us more effectively feel whatever emotions we need to feel. By actually feeling our feelings we learn to give ourselves more of what we need and stop expecting people and things outside of us to meet our needs. This is how we gain power back over emotional eating. We learn to take a break when we feel overwhelmed instead of thinking we have to keep doing everything so we can feel more worthy. We access our power within and find that the worst that could happen is an emotion. Conscious, present awareness gives us our power back, it gives us life and energy and more of what we want ti experience.
