On Wednesday, July 29, Pam Marvin invited Fr. Paul-Michael Piega on the show to talk about his journey to the priesthood. Fr. Paul-Michael is a Texas A&M graduate and is one of two new associate pastors at St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station. The first part of the show, Pam talked about St. Martha, as the day's Gospel reading was from Matthew where Lazarus died and Martha boldly said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died!” In the second half of the show, Fr. Paul told his story about becoming a priest. He talked about what a powerful impact St. Mary’s Catholic Center had on him when he was a student at Texas A&M and how God used his time here to discern his vocation to the priesthood.
