Self love has almost become a buzzword, maybe even a fad, where it can feel kind of phony, cringey, or only for those kind of people who are into the current buzz or the current fad. Not real enough, not tangible. But why is that? Why don't we feel that way about love in general towards others? We don't feel like love is just phony - instead we experience it. We feel it. So why does it feel so foreign and hard to reach when it's applied to ourselves?
I'll give you a hint. Self love is not reserved for only those woo woo, sunshine and daisies people. It's not a fad. And it's not just you who feels distant from it.
It's not even your fault. Our human brains. present an obstacle that makes self love feel so intangible, foreign, and distant at times. And today I'm going to be sharing what exactly that is and how to bypass it so that you can start to experience glimpses of greater self kindness, less negative self talk and more freedom to make the choices that benefit your own well being.
