He is well known for his performance on Penn & Teller in March 2021 where he was able to successfully fool the iconic duo. He was not only awarded the trophy, but also the opportunity to perform his magic at their Rio Casino show in Los Vegas.

The prestigious London Magic Circle awarded John - Associate Member of the Inner Magic Circle (AIMC) with silver star - the highest level possible to achieve when joining the club though magical examination. He has also won the title of “Close-Up Magician Of The Year” in 2021 at the Medway Magic Society's annual competition and is a past winner of both "The Best Entertainment in Lincolnshire" and "The Best Entertainment in Yorkshire" awards at the Wedding Industry Awards which is voted by the public.
