Alexandre Franchi has pivoted trauma into art and it displayed beautifully in his new film “Happy Face”. He goes into personal stories about his mom’s and his own cancer diagnosis and how that fueled his artistic drive. He also speaks about his intense casting process for the film and how he held training sessions with the actors before filming. In the intro, Randy took too many mushrooms for Terrence Malick. Clark loved Little Women and was very lukewarm on Bad Boys 3 while Russ classes up the place with an Artsploitation Film, The House.
