But our topic this week is about being content in your career and accepting where you are. We live in an ambitious and fast paced world where we (especially as women) feel the pressure to achieve a certain amount by a certain age. But when we’re constantly told and feel like we should be striving for more, do we ever stop to enjoy where we are? How do we recognise and be honest with ourselves about being content with where we are in our career, rather than feeling like success or happiness will only come from the next promotion or the next payrise.
