Going on dates is an important part of a relationship, even into marriage. The authors of this book have guidelines and setup for each date:

1. Commit to 10 dates.
2. Set up a calendar for dates
3. Make sure your calendar is clear for the dates
4. Plan to change plans if the unexpected happens
5. Look toward the date and build up anticipation
6. Read the corresponding chapter and take notes and do prep work
7. Use the guide in the book and stick to the discussion
8. Be upbeat and hold hands
9. Do the work
