What is confidence and is there any way to measure it?!
As a child, I don't remember hearing the word confident and I don't remember learning about it in school. Although I do remember having some form of reference to confidence because I could recognize where I was deficient in comparison to others. My biggest memory of this was playing sports during my most formative years and constantly comparing my abilities and achievements to those who were "better" or "worse" than me.
Such an interesting perspective that our confidence can become rooted in being the "best" or "worst" at something. What if you fall in the middle? Does that mean that you're confidence is so-so?
Today, I ask my son questions about confidence and discuss what it means to be confident.
