As a recovering cardio queen, I thoroughly remember the feeling of feeling out of place and terrified in the weight room. A bunch of dudes who can no longer properly put their arms by their sides, a minefield of supplement-filled blender bottles, big egos, and grunting. Today, we aren't quite so alone in the weight room, as more and more women are moving in and claiming their strength, BUT that doesn't mean it's any less intimidating. So let's chat about a few ways to feel more at home amongst the free weights and barbells. I promise you, YOU belong in that room. Take up the space you deserve!
