In 1984, the University of Chicago Press published Paths of Neighborhood Change whose lead author was Richard Taub, a section of which discusses Hyde Park's urban renewal.

Playing them back leads me to explore the intersection of personal history and the larger social and cultural context through the lens of an outdated technology.
