In Chapter 3 of David Goggins' Can't Hurt Me, Goggins discusses the role of accountability in achieving success and overcoming obstacles. He describes accountability as the willingness to take responsibility for your actions and the outcomes of those actions, and offers practical advice for developing accountability, including the importance of setting goals, creating systems and routines, and seeking feedback and support from others. Goggins also shares his own experiences of accountability, including his experiences in the military and his training for and completion of the Badwater Ultramarathon. He emphasizes that accountability is not just about following rules and regulations, but about taking ownership of your life and your choices, and being willing to learn and grow from your experiences.
