Cyber security has changed our perceptions of security from state-centred to human-centred. Infiltration of social media accounts and cyber systems to collect personal or public information has grown into a security issue and threat to the entire society, from individuals to private companies and states. The virtual world also forces changes in communication channels and methods. We discussed the regime of the cyber world with journalist Mary Ann Russon.
