Bio of myself:
Marisa is the doula and childbirth educator behind Roaring Motherhood. I have been married for 9 years and a mother to 3 blessings with 1 on the way. Christ has placed upon my heart, a calling & ministry, that encourages women to get back to having him in the center of it all. We can create positive change in the birth world by nurturing, educating, and healing ourselves through a holistic and faith-filled lens.

Hey there. I am a girl mom of 2, ages 2 years old and 3 months. I fell in love with birth and motherhood after becoming a mom. Prior to that, I really had no interest in anything related to birth. Now I see the beauty and privilege in embracing motherhood and how blessed I am to have the ability to have babies. My prayer is that all future mothers can experience birth and motherhood the way it’s intended to be and are supported by other mothers the way I’ve been.
