Hearing from the news about what African Americans face on a day to day baises, has caused me to take a deeper approach into pilling back the layers of my emotional thought process being an African American male in America. Although, I know everyone’s experience is different I am deeply thankful and honored to interview Ralph who is the interim Dean of Students Affairs, husband, father, son, and a mentor . As we walk through this journey of what it means to be an African American and what are some of our views as it pertains to the African American culture. We would appreciate that you take this episode as a single vantage point from our perspective. We do not speak on behalf of all African Americans. However, we can all learn from one another.
