We are joined by Ben Steuart the CEO of SCP Manufacturing and Co-Founder of Favor Nutrition. Ben leads a team of 35 employees between his 2 manufacturing plants in Leroy and Mabel, Minnesota.
In this episode he shares his deeply personal and transformative story of faith, resilience, and purpose in the world of entrepreneurship. His unwavering faith in Jesus has not only transformed his own life but has also reshaped his perspective as a business owner, leading him to see people and love them the way God loves us – as important and valuable individuals.
Ben also takes us back to his early years, working alongside his father in the manufacturing business. It was these formative experiences that instilled in him invaluable lessons, guiding him on his path to becoming the successful entrepreneur he is today. Ben's innate interest in entrepreneurship, coupled with the wrong crowd, briefly led him down a destructive path. As he aptly puts it, "bad company corrupts good character."
However, salvation and a newfound faith in Christ marked a turning point in Ben's life. Surrounded by remarkable Christian business mentors, he bought his father's plant and embarked on his own entrepreneurial journey. Today, he dedicates a significant portion of his company's efforts to supplements, including their own line of colostrum powder under Favor Nutrition.
