#18: Guided Meditation: Let Go Of Your Worries - Ditte Elton

Meditation can help with many different things but one of the things that I find it to be extremely helpful with is to help release stress, worries and fears. You probably know the feeling of having lots of spinning thoughts and worries, oftentimes about the past or the future and even about things that might not even happen. Of course we know that it doesn't help to worry about things that haven't even happened yet, but sometimes those worries can just be a bad habit of the mind that can be difficult to change.My best advice for you to have a calm and peaceful mind is to be ‘present’. Just to be here and in the now! It’s as simple as that. If you think about it, it's really only when the mind is in the past or in the future that the worrying thoughts can survive, but if you are fully present in the now those thoughts will disappear and evaporate. You can always handle the present moment!The Now is always ready for you and is always available at any time. In fact, the present is actually the only thing that really exists. All you have to do is to ‘be’. Maybe this is easier said than done, especially if most of your thoughts are in the past or the future. This is a very common and human thing to do, and trust me I do it too! But this is where meditation comes into the picture. Through meditation we can let go of our worries and slide right into the Now. Meditation can be such a powerful tool and that is what I’m hoping this guided meditation will help you with. To let go of your worries and be present.You can listen to this meditation whenever you want whether you have come home from a busy day at work or if you feel overwhelmed and stressed out. You can use it as often as you want and over time it will eventually become easier and easier for you to have a peaceful and calm mind. I believe in you and know you can do it!
