On this episode, I chat with Eddy Zheng. He’s the founder of the New Breath Foundation, the first formerly incarcerated “juvenile lifer” to serve as president of a philanthropic Foundation. With his personal experience going through the school to prison to deportation pipeline, he has dedicated himself to fighting for communities impacted by the criminal justice system. We talk about the system’s effect on the AAPI community and why the spread of COVID in prisons is inhumane. So here's my chat with Eddy!
