Listen Later

Thank you for tuning into episode #18 of The Why Moments Podcast.

Meet Jeff Etienne, he is a sports referee for five sports who lives in Boston, United States. In this episode, Jeff shares his story of being diagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder and anxiety and how he's been taking anti-depressants for four years.

His biggest turnings points are when he lost his job and couldn't find work for many years, his father passing away and the end of a long-term relationship. He has been dealing with racism all his life and was suicidal from an early age.

As you can probably tell from the description, this was another heavy/emotional episode. There is a silence in the middle where Jeff and I cry and for the purpose of vulnerability, I decided to leave this part in to show the raw audio. Thank you Jeff so much for being open and honest with your story. I am honored to be sharing this episode and I hope you guys enjoy listening to it. Don't forget to connect with Jeff and listen to his podcast as well.
