LAZARUS

”Jesus wept.”  John 11: 35

One of the shortest verses in the Bible according to many Bibilical Scholars. In the Greek i'ts actually 3 words. The repercussions and meaning for humanity is breathtakingly beautiful.

In this story that moves from grief to grave to gratitude to jubilation we find the co-creator and Saviour of the world showing a deep sense of empathy for the loss of a friend. The repercussions of this very act is startling: we serve an almighty God who understands our suffering and pain...
He's not distant. 
But close to the broken hearted. Saves those crushed in Spirit.
Whatever you're facing, remember that Jesus wept. And He's weeping with you; alongside you. Whatever you are going through.
