There are inherent risks with everything in life. If you are observant and can read the signs leading up to large events, you can lessen the effects of taking risks by preparing for, or avoiding bad situations.

Observation isn't just a case of seeing what is happening, but also using other senses, and in some cases calling upon resources like weather reports, which enable you to predict possible future scenarios and plan out best for a trip.
