Martin Emmrich was born on Dec. 17, 1984 in Magdeburg in East Germany. He is a retired professional tennis player who specialized in doubles on the ATP tour (Association of Tennis Professionals). He reached his highest ATP singles ranking of 604 on October 12, 2009 and his highest doubles ranking of 35 on August 5, 2013. Martin Emmrich is the son of Thomas Emmrich (who also played for East Germany) and is the only one from that country to ever hold an ATP ranking.
