The reality mode we live in depends on our level of consciousness and desire for God’s will in our life.  Van of Urantia teaches from The Cosmic Family, Volume IV how our mind circuitry can be opened by our ascension striving, in order to walk into our highest destiny.  Much of the world chooses to live in lower reality modes of selfishness, greed, anger, impatience, etc. and this is the cause, the spiritual root of the many social and environmental problems in our world.

In order to grow spiritually we have to take responsibility, and use our talents in service to humanity. Van encourages, “Your talents should be used to let the whole world know that you know and love God the Father, God the Son, God the Mother.”
