Paul explains that since we have died to sin and are alive in Jesus, we are now able to follow Jesus. This new reality provides compelling reasons to follow Jesus, leading to greater dominion (grace over sin), a better destiny (life over death), a deeper motivation (delight over duty), and a transformed identity (bond servant of righteousness over prisoner of sin).
