As parents, we want to provide our kids with a better life than what we had. As noble and common as that may be, we also have to consider the consequences of our actions.

Too much protection, and we hinder their ability to think for themselves and trust their instincts. Too little guidance, could lead to lawlessness and lack of self control.

As you can see, especially if you've got kids, parenting is an entirely different challenge in itself.
